Art Club

Art Club

Art Club is a club for students who wish to improve their artistic ability. We spend some time each week learning the principles and elements of art and put those new skills to work in a small project. Some of the topics Art Club will go over are shape, line, value, color, perspective, basic anatomy, and more.

Art Club meets in room S4, Mrs. Cross’s science classroom. Her assistant, Mrs. Stevens, is the sponsor of this club. Art Club meets at 3:00 every Tuesday.

Students should bring a sketchbook (larger than 4x6 inches), pencils, other drawing utensils of their choice, and a good attitude. Eligibility is dependent on a student’s good behavior both at school and at club. If they do not behave well, they will not be allowed at club. Students must also maintain grades of a C or better to be eligible for club.  I also ask that students do NOT bring any messy materials (clay, chalk, oil pastels, paint, etc.) unless they receive permission from me first.
